A TURNING POINT for DAISY.........
Daisy is a lovely older Arabian Mare that came to our TURNING POINT program in less tha perfect
shape, and with a less than friendly demeanor.
When Daisy came to Turning Point she was not a happy horse. You can see she appears grumpy, turning away
when we would approach her. She preferred not to be caught, not to stand still, not to be saddled or bridled. She wanted to
be left alone. Although she couldn't talk to us she was telling us emphatically to leave her alone.
During her time here she learned that we were not going to hurt her or try to make her do something she
couldn't do. When she decided to relax and trust us, and learned to understand what we wanted she was no longer frightened.
She has transformed into a well behaved pleasant 26 year old Arabian mare. We hardly can believe she is the same horse!
TURNING POINT is a new mentoring program that dedicates it's services to horses and humans.
