Hunter is a delightful Appendix Quarter Horse with a wealth of show ring experience.  "Hunter has some of the best ground manners I've seen. He stands very still during brushing, leads great, baths, stands for the farrier. When boarded at a barn with 60+ horses, he was the only horse the owner of the barn ever had that didn't need to be sedated for body clipping. He is mostly ridden English but has a back ground in western riding. He tends to like to go fast while being ridden at the canter and sometimes trot when in the arena, but is fine on trails and at the walk. He has absolutly no spook in him; when taken on a trail ride last October there was a pretty scary looking bridge with some noisy rapids underneath and he lead the group over it. Hunter has been ridden over tarps, past garbage bins, even stood on his back and have yet to find something that fazes this old guy. He does have some feed requirements and he tends to get picked on in the pasture by other horses because he is not assertive."
